The Engineering Technology Scholarship Foundation of Alberta (ETSFA) actively promotes technical education for students at Alberta technical institutes and colleges. It also promotes the continued professional development of ASET members. ETSFA accomplishes this through the establishment and administration of several scholarships.

EXTERNAL EVENT: Alberta Wetland Rapid Evaluation Tool (ABWRET-A) Training Course

The concept of ABWRET-A is based on a regional understanding of the relative functionality of a wetland compared to others in the region coupled with on-site observations. This 3-day hands-on training course provides:

  • An understanding of the concept of a ABWRET-A and indicators of wetland function, and
  • Practice conducting the rapid survey and completing the ABWRET forms.
