Dr. Amelia Estwick: US National Cybersecurity Institute

Dr. Amelia Estwick used to work in the US Department of Defense (DoD) as a Technical Director within the Threat Operations Center.  This Centre is  responsible for monitoring and securing DoD networks against cyberattacks.  Dr. Estwick has over 20 years of government IT experience (both civilian and military) working in the areas of cybersecurity, information assurance, and computer network operations. Dr. Amelia Estwick is now with the US National Cybersecurity Institute based in New York. 

Kevin Waugh: Google Deep Mind

Kevin Waugh is now a data scientist with Google Deep Mind.  Kevin will share with the audience Facebook and Google's machine learning systems (pipelines) for their advertising infrastructure.  He will elaborate on how they collect and store data, and how to use it to train and evaluate models. He will also share with the audience the evolution of these pipelines and where they are going with them in the future.
