Technology Accreditation Canada Relaunches Website

17, Feb, 2017

Technology Accreditation Canada (TAC) has relaunched its website to better serve stakeholders of the engineering technology profession. The site features a more contemporary home page design and expanded content.

The site’s navigation has been bolstered with more information about national program accreditation, including resource material for educational institutions. A separate menu for national standards has been created along with a new section profiling industry and profession information for students. For quick access, five blue callouts, just below the main image, have been added to direct browsers to key areas of the site. Postings to “news and announcements” will focus on articles about educational institutions, engineering technology/applied science education and awareness for the profession.

“We believe the website’s fresh look, navigation improvements and additional content will create greater engagement with students, parents, educational administrators, faculty and industry stakeholders”, comments Executive Director, Richard Stamper. “With more frequent news postings, our goal is to have people coming back to the site often to stay in touch”.
