Application Process

  1. Complete and submit Online Application using your legal name only.
  2. Submit original transcripts by mail to the ASET office
  • If you have an active/former ASET Student membership, please use your existing ASET ID to apply for the T.T. Membership.  Should you not be able to retrieve your existing/former ASET ID from your records please contact liamb@aset.ab.ca.
  • Transcripts must be final and note that graduation was awarded.
  • Transcripts must be original or true copies certified by a notary, a regulated member of ASET or APEGA, or an ASET staff member.
Those who have just recently graduated please be aware you may have to wait some time before applying for T.T. as your institution finalizes grades and updates the transcript accordingly. ASET would recommend that you contact your post-secondary institution before ordering your official transcript to ensure the graduation date and credential awarded are present on the transcript prior to being issued. ASET is unable to accept a transcript without this essential information.

Compentency Summaries

T.T. Members are encouraged to download the competency summary in their discipline of practice and begin tracking relevant work experience. This preparation will allow T.T. members to have a comprehensive work experience record for their future C.Tech or C.E.T. application.
