College & Institute Scholarships

ETSFA offers fourteen $1,500 scholarships each year. To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time and in the final half of an applied science, engineering or information technology program that will lead to eventual certification by ASET. The program must be greater than one year in length. Applicants must be student members of ASET (which is free).

Scholarship criteria

The Awards Office at each participating institute or college determines scholarship winners based on the following criteria:

  1. Applicant has applied and qualified for ASET student membership.
  2. Applicant has ranked in the top 10 percent of his/her class based on academic achievement during the first year of his/her program.
  3. Applicant demonstrates leadership ability through participation in school/community activities.

How to apply

Application is made in the early fall of each year through the Awards Office at the student's institute/college. Scholarship winners are selected by the institute/college officials in accordance with ETSFA criteria.

Contact the Awards Office at your institute/college for particulars. Scholarships are presented at various times throughout the year, depending on the institute/college.
