For many years, Technology Alberta has served as ASET’s quarterly publication, highlighting industry developments, registrant achievements, advocacy initiatives, and stories from across the profession. We are proud of the role it has played in connecting engineering technologists throughout the province.

In 2025, ASET transitioned the magazine to a digital-only format as part of our commitment to increased financial responsibility and operational alignment with our updated mandate.

As ASET continues its evolution into a rank-one regulator under Alberta’s legislative framework, our focus is now fully centred on protecting the public and its interests. Matching other provincial regulators, ASET will be discontinuing the quarterly publication of Technology Alberta.

Moving forward, important regulatory updates, governance information, and organizational news will be shared online as needed through e-newsletters, our website, and other official communications channels.

We thank the many contributors, readers, and supporters who have been part of Technology Alberta over the years. Its history reflects an important chapter in ASET’s evolution. As we move forward under our regulatory mandate, we remain committed to transparency, accountability, and clear communication with registrants and stakeholders.
