IMPORTANT EXAM INFORMATION:
The NPPE exam is written in exam windows. The exam will be written one of these three days, either in the morning or the afternoon. Your preference will be forwarded to APEGA and Yardstick, who administer the examination. You will be booked into one of the six exams in this window based on your preference and availability, but ultimately the final decision on date/time is made by Yardstick. You will be provided with details of the exact date, time and testing location by Yardstick approximately three to four weeks prior to the exam window.
If you do not receive the email from Yardstick, please contact
highstakes@getyardstick.com. ASET does not have the exam details and cannot provide them to you.
Special Accommodation Requests
If applicants with disabilities need to request accomodations to write the NPPE, a notice of 7 week before the exam date of their choice, must be given in writing to the ASET Registration Staff with the appropriate documentation (email exams@aset.ab.ca).
Applicants will be required to provide documented evidence of the disability. Such evidence includes a formal detailed diagnosis of the specific disability from an appropriate professional (e.g. physician, psychologist, rehabilitation counsellor) and supporting documentation citing the need for exam accomodations and what accomodations the candidate received in the past.
ASET will review the candidate's written request for accomodation and determine if it can be supported.
