Promoting Technical Education in Alberta

The ASET Foundation actively promotes technical education for students at Alberta technical institutes and colleges, and promotes the continued professional development of ASET members through the establishment and administration of several scholarships.

Made up of past presidents of ASET, the ASET Foundation receives much-needed support from the generous contributions of the past presidents, as well as support from ASET and other partners who contribute to the scholarship fund.

Support the ASET Foundation

ASET Members who would like to donate can select the optional ASET Foundation donation contribution box when they pay their annual dues through the link below. Dues invoices also have a separate section to record ASET Foundation contributions.

Non-members are also welcome to donate to the scholarship foundation and will receive a tax receipt from the registered charity. Many of the families of long-term ASET members have donated to the ASET Foundation in memory of their loved ones, including donations in lieu of flowers.

Individuals, organizations and companies interested in supporting the ASET Foundation scholarships—or creating new ones—should contact ASET to discuss ideas. All donations to the ASET Foundation are fully tax-deductible.

The ASET Foundation contributions are accepted by phone at 1-800-272-5619 or in the Edmonton area at 780-425-0626.

Please note: The ASET Foundation's annual operating expenses are borne by ASET, meaning 100% of all donations go into the scholarship fund.
